Great result fundraiser sponsor walk

Again, 14-year-old Ben Postma raised a nice amount during the Nijmegen Four-Day Walk in July. The sponsored run raised 2150 Euros! An amazing amount! Well done Ben! Wilde Ganzen contributed half of that so the animal shelter for Aimen and her family was funded by Ben. When another harsh winter comes, Aimen and her family’s animals have a better chance of surviving the winters.

Ben and his friend Simon on the first day, fresh and energetic. Note Ben’s unusual t-shirt with Kazakh and nomad girl Aimen portrayed at his back and the QR-code for donation. On day three the fatigue comes in, especially on the seven hills road between Groesbeek and Berg en Dal. Ben and his friends enjoys a well-deserved massage! Then they are ready to go again, Maas, Juultje (mother of Maas), Cas , Ben and Simon. On Day 4 they completed in total 120 kilometers of walking (without too many blisters and muscle pain). For that achievement they received the Four-Day Cross. As mentioned, Ben also achieved his goal of fund raising the budget needed for the animal shelter for Aimen and her family. You can be proud Ben!
